THE FIRST MISSION TRIP FOR 2021!

STL is finally back from 1.5 years of COVID-19 shelter-in-place! We will be setting up shop for our first mission trip at the St. Bernadette Church in Los Angeles.

Some important details:

All our volunteers are required to be vaccinated!
Temperature checks will be done at the entrance.
Please wear a mask at all times
Sanitation stations will be set up.

CAMP FIRE VICTIMS OUTREACH -VISION SCREENING

In response to the recent devastating Northern California wildfire, we are setting up a vision screening for the victims of Butte County. The vision screening will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Chico from 11am - 4pm. Application deadlines are due December 12th. JOIN TO HELP.

GIVING IS BETTER THAN RECEIVING: SEPTEMBER 24, 2013

This winter season, what better gift can you give than the gift of your time and service? We are recruiting volunteers for our medical mission and our children’s ministry. We will be providing eye exams, health education seminars, and children’s activities in Yunlin & Chiayi, Taiwan 12/26/2013-01/05/2014. Join us and apply by Oct. 11th!

JOB WELL DONE: SEPTEMBER 19, 2013

In the 2012-2013 year, STL has examined over 1,200 patients and prescribed over 550 pairs of glasses – all of which are free of charge to our patients! Thank you to the hard work and dedication of our 30 volunteers. High five for a job well done indeed!

SEPT UPDATE & ANNOUNCING DEC MISSION TRIP: AUGUST 16TH, 2013

The September mission trip will be our first all Taiwanese group. We are excited to have 7 local volunteers serve with STL. We will be providing eye care and catechesis through children’s ministry up in the Hsinchu mountains. Please pray for us!

DEC 2012 MISSION TRIP SUCCESS!: JANUARY 17TH, 2013

Our inaugural missions trip to Taiwan was a great success! In the span of 7 clinic days, our team saw 418 patients—174 of which we prescribed brand new glasses. Praise the Lord for such a rewarding trip!
